ASR/Nighat Said Khan Archival Collection
The ASR/Nighat Said Khan Archival Collection is part of the Women’s History Archive and Learning Center’s endeavor to preserve women’s history in Pakistan. The collection includes archival materials donated by the Applied Socio-economic Resource Centre (ASR) and The Institute of Women’s Studies, Lahore (IWSL). These materials were donated by Nighat Said Khan to the Saida Waheed Gender Initiative.
The collection, established in 2023, includes audio archives, which comprise 1,150 hours of presentation, lectures, interviews, and songs. It also contains videos of presentations, lectures, interviews, cultural programs, mushairas, rallies, and songs. Photographs documenting ASR activities, ASR publications, and documents pertaining to the research, planning, and running of ASR/IWSL are also part of the archive.
